Culture is a technique to identify the cause of infection in your body. This test identifies the aerobic organisms that require oxygen for their survival, commonly causing infection in the vagina. Symptoms of vaginal infection are vaginal discharge, pain during urination, burning & redness. Some of the vaginal infections are associated with sexually transmitted diseases. This test also gives the appropriate antibiotics to be prescribed for effectively controlling that infection.
