Rapid AFB Culture

A positive culture for Tuberculosis (TB) is subjected to a rapid method of drug sensitivity against Prothinamide drug. This drug is effective against TB when taken with other antitubercular drugs. A positive culture for TB is subjected to a single specific drug to assess the response. This identifies whether this drug can be prescribed for the patient.You should strictly take all medications for TB as per the advice of your doctor.
