Extractable nuclear antigens (ENA) are proteins that can be extracted from the nuclei in your cells. They help to diagnose and differentiate between various autoimmune disorders in which your body starts reacting to your own cells. This test also helps to monitor how disease progresses in your body if your test is positive. This panel tests for 15 nuclear antigens to detect Connective tissue diseases (CTD).
