ALLERGY WHEAT(Gehun)

Wheat is among the six most important food items accounting for food intolerance and allergy specially in children. Allergic reactions can be caused by eating wheat & also in some cases by inhaling the wheat flour. You may develop allergy to gluten which is a component of wheat but it is not the same as allergy to wheat. Symptoms include itchy lips, mouth & throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hives & asthma. Exercise can induce a severe allergic reaction in known cases of wheat allergy.
