Excess Aldosterone hormone can be produced by your adrenal gland in certain conditions (Primary Aldosteronism) or diseases of heart, liver & kidneys can stimulate the adrenal gland in your body to produce more Aldosterone hormone (Secondary Aldosteronism). Aldosterone & Renin levels control your blood pressure. Any changes in their ratio can trigger high blood pressure (Hypertension).
