Activated protein C resistance (APCR) is used to identify a condition in which there is a poor response of anticoagulant to a protein. This defect leads to an increased risk of venous thrombosis in your body, including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. It is useful in women with repeated pregnancy loss & also if you have a family history of forming blood clots.
